On February 1st, A pinned on the new rank of Warrant Officer! We were so proud to attend the Appointment Ceremony at Marine Corps Base Quantico.

She loves her "Sgt. Chesty" (the English bulldog mascot of the USMC), reminding her of Daddy.
Following the Appointment Ceremony, A returned to The Basic School at Quantico to continue the grueling Warrant Officer Course. There's the Iron Mike statue at TBS, Camp Barrett.
At church, Z drew a picture of her praying for her daddy while he's clearly not enjoying his hike. The following day, A actually went a similar-looking hike; just substitute the walking sticks for rifles!
